Mindful Lettering and Doodling
Join calligrapher Amy Owens for a relaxing, creativity-filled class where art meets mindfulness. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn step-by-step how to draw Zentangle-inspired patterns, create calming calligraphic lettering, and explore the soothing art of reverse coloring — starting with vibrant backgrounds and adding your own lines and words on top. Using OMY Magic Markers, Microns, and gel pens, you’ll create beautiful, meditative designs to help you unplug, de-stress, and tap into your creative flow. Come for the doodles, stay for the calm!
Introduction to Pointed Pen Calligraphy
Learn to use a dip pen with steel nib to create the beautiful, delicate letters of the copperplate alphabet in this 4 week class. Students will learn to use a steel nib, dipped in ink, to write in this style. We will learn how to prep your nib, hold the pen, proper posture, how to warm up, and the basic strokes for the letterforms.

Welcome to the Unique and Fun Hand Lettering Workshop! Join us for an evening of fun with pens at The Sticker Shop! Amy Owens will demonstrate a few new skills to help you elevate your own lettering, as well as teach you new techniques for creatively embellishing text in your written work including shade and shadow, patterns, banners and color. A beautiful set of handouts will be included with the class that act as a guide as you further your lettering journey. Whether you enjoy making greeting cards, taking beautiful notes, journaling or just doodling, this class will help you take your lettering to the next level.
All materials needed for this class (and to take home) will be supplied including:
Rhodia Classic Notepad
2 Le Pens
1 Pentel Sign Pens (choice of colors)
1 Tombow Duel Tip Pen
I Gelly Roll Stardust Pen
1 Roll of Washi Tape
The class is designed for adults, but kids 13 and older are welcome (with adult supervision if necessary). Amy will be teaching towards beginners - no prior experience necessary. If you do have some lettering experience, you will also benefit from the techniques taught in this class. Light refreshments will be served.

Intro to Bullet Journaling
Have you been wanting to dive into the world of bullet journaling but are too intimidated to begin? Join Amy for an exciting in-person event at The Sticker Shop in Wyoming, OH. Our class will introduce you to the basics of bullet journaling in a straightforward and approachable way. We will learn the key components to a successful journal and how to personalize it to fit YOUR unique lifestyle! We will dive in and create our first weekly spread together using the fabulous journal, stickers, washi tape and pens from The Sticker Shop that are included with the class. You don't have to be a skilled artist to create a beautiful and successful bullet journal--you just need a few key principals and a desire to create!

Creating Beautiful Holiday Envelopes
Join Amy at The Sticker Shop for a lovely and educational evening to learn tips and tricks to beautifuly hand letter your holiday card envelopes. Cincinnati calligrapher, Amy Owens, will host a 2 hour workshop where she will teach you how to use a combination of brush pens and felt tip pens to creatively letter and embellish your envelopes with a combination of modern calligraphy, block letter styling, washi tape and tasetful holiday stickers.
