Learn to use a dip pen with steel nib to create the beautiful, delicate letters of the copperplate alphabet in this 4 week class. Students will learn to use a steel nib, dipped in ink, to write in this style. We will learn how to prep your nib, hold the pen, proper posture, how to warm up, and the basic strokes for the letterforms.

Week 1: Pre-writing skills & History
Week 2: Basic Strokes
Week 3: Minuscule Alphabet (lowercase)
Week 4: Majuscule Alphabet (uppercase) & Take-home project
